That is the reason you cannot keep it in a space where your leather bags can’t ‘breathe’.. Frankly, I still cannot understand why and I don’t really have many real leather good except for my old partial leather sofa, a jacket, a pair of blue suede boots which I wore less than a handful of fingers and a brown leather backpack. And all these were bought long time ago. I realized that even though time passes by quickly, these items are still very tough in condition although it looks rather dull. Ah Boy said I can get those brush and leather polish, coloured or non coloured to bring these products back to ‘live’. I remember that I once bought a really expensive present among a collection of leather briefcases from a swanky mall (it was my first very expensive product right after my graduation..) and even though it looks like mouldy, I am sure I can get it to look brand new again after a polish.

Or shall I just bring it to the store that handles leather stuff?

I cannot believe what I see on photos and you tube videos recently about the peaceful sit down demonstration held in Malaysia. Many people I know had taken part in what was supposed to be a peaceful protest and what ended this demonstration became something that made the people of the country filled with angry and betrayal because you could see videos of how some of the people been beaten up by people of the authorities in full uniform and how they had used water cannons and gassed the people during the demonstration. A you tube video also showed how a police car had been driven recklessly into the people was unbelieavable… I hope the police have a good explaination and proof for this manner..

Why must gas and water be used on unarmed people of the public? Especially when you can see not only these people are unarmed, they were also with young people and some even brought children along, knowing fully well that they are there to support a clean and fair election for their own country.

Is the support for a clean and fair governance a threat? Surely it is not.. And I am very sure, from looking at the the people in the youtube videos, there is no race nor religion agenda here. The people of the public consists of all people from all races, religion, young and old.

I wish for peace and fair judgment for the people, especially all the innocent ones in the country. I wish for justice and equality for them all. Every one should benefit regardless of race, religion and age.

I met up with an old friend recently. Well, actually, I sort of bumped into him one morning while doing grocery shopping. He had changed a lot. He used to be this very nerdy-looking bespectable-fella who only murmurs short answers during conversations but of course with me, as long time friends he managed a little more than that.

Not now. He is chatty and very friendly and full of passion when it comes to describing about his work which is also his passion - music. He now teaches music in a accredited school and also works composing music, digitally for the media. Oh he dresses very differently too, and can see that he has managed to build up his scrawny build and now looking very confident with himself. I am very proud of my friend, who never seemed to explain with patience anything that sounds alien to me, from music lingo like what Cakewalk to him is a product of high definition audio set up for the music industry and not a definition of simple accomplishment in English literature! Awesome.

No wonder he could held on as a teacher because these are the qualities of patience and product knowledge in which he is the perfect person.

How many of you out there know what kind of present to get for the men on special occasions. Okay, so if it is for someone close, like… your boyfriend or spouse. A shaver, a pen, a tie or a mug? Hmmm… too casual? Oh how about underwear? Okay, that would be too kinky.. but, that also depends what kind of underwear you are getting… are you getting for basic use or for that special evening.. and that also depends if you have just gotten married or have been the wedded couple for like tenths of years already..

But frankly.. what do men prefer to have for presents… do you think they prefer something practical or they still like to be ‘wooed’ like the newly wedded couple.. Women friends I know buys their partners ties, tie pins, mugs, towels, boring boring stuffs. One even got him a coffee machine.. maybe that should be something the men can buy themselves, for the household… For the more affordable women, they probably get custom made golf equipments, a car (shocking but yes..), or maybe to hint the spouse about the untidy garden why not get one of those handy reel lawn mowers so that your men can help mow all that overgrowing grass out there… However, I think in this day and age, I think many are getting their spouse, the smartphones, tablets and other gadgets like gps or a spa package.. What about you..

I must admit that I like retro styles so much that once I collected many stuffs along the way. Or should I say, hoarding is my hobby. Chocolate or cookie boxes, old bottles in that age, cloths, rattan chairs, vinyl mats and even bought switch plate covers of that era from the old man on the street plying second hand used goods. I’ve got a nice lamp with a retro shade and I hope to build up my collection and turn my home into a retro home! No shiny spanky new apartment for me, but maybe one of those old walk up apartments would be a nice touch to making it even more real! Now would pastel blue be a nice colour for the theme?

I really would like to live in a mobile home. Yes I do. I do not really need a big house with a big garden all around if I had a mobile home. Like those caravan homes. Or what some people call it the rc trucks. Everything you need is in there, a bed, a kitchen, your fridge, yes everything including the kitchen sink. I can go anywhere and do not need to pack a large heavy luggage and hours of driving is no problem since one can just pull up and park at some shady spots for a quick rest or forty winks.

However, the thing is, you won’t get to see such luxury trucks in Singapore. Parking space is so limited and expensive so rc trucks is out of the question. Here we need to live in high rise homes building up because of the shortage of land. Homes are expensive but I suppose if you live within your means, chances are one can always find a home within his or her budget…

So the next possible thing would be to live on a boat? Oh well, small island so not much place to dock your boat… How?

I need to change my mailbox. Well, it’s too small, definitely too small. If I were to receive any mails of A4 size and bigger, it won’t fit into my mailbox. The postman will need to ring my doorbell to deliver it or he sometimes just balance it on the door handle, something I absolutely dislike. What if my mails get stolen? So, the only thing to do is, to get a bigger mailbox for my mails. I would very much like to get one with a special ‘circular’ container for newspapers as well. It is not easy to get one so perhaps I should specifically get one custom made according to the size I want. But it is not easy to find a store that sells customized mailbox and specially designed mailbox plaques to go along. I wonder if there are large ones on sale online and if they do delivery halfway across the world?

I had just dropped my girl at the tuition centre when Lea just couldn’t control but helped herself to the comfy large sofas there! She is like that, grabbing every opportunity to crawl and lie or sleep on sofas, beds, chairs and furnitures that are in the showroom displays! I feel worried sometimes. She does that on the small sofas in shoe shops too. She would be the official tester and tell you if the piece of furniture is worth the ‘play’.. lol And if they are comfy enough, “why not just buy one set, mummy?”

Must be because I wear shoes that are not enclosed all the time… But I do give my feet a good pumice scrub every now and then and the first thing I do, (honest) is wash my feet when it is time for a bathe… I just had to clean it because I figured that it is the most exposed to bacteria when I am out working… I give it a good lather and then scrub it. After the regular bath, I’d moisturize it, yes I try to take care of my feet.. as a matter of fact (I know I’m crazy), my feet uses my face cleansing wash, not the regular soap…lol Currently I use Eversoft brand on my feet, the same as my face… so I usually buy them in a 3 pack!

After the moisturizing with my high potency Vitamin E cream, I put on my toesox to keep it moist!..with all these intensive steps, I do wonder why is my feet still as dry as ever?
