Still Keeping Some Baby’s Stuff

posted by constance

I bought these new stack up cabinets last week in the midst of my spring cleaning. I wanted to put them downstairs next to my desktop to store office supplies like all my papers, files and other stationery. However after tidying up the room upstairs, I ended up using it for my kids little bags, purses, and kids’ swimming goggles, some of the baby napkins and clothes that I just couldn’t bear to throw away. I guess some part of me always want to keep some of my girls’ baby clothes still.

Each year, I do take them out, throw a few pieces and still shortlist out some for keeps. And I try not to throw the old baby cloth napkins as they are very good for cleaning, and covering some small pieces of items when we go holiday.

Baby Gifts

posted by constance

I have been thinking of getting my friend who had just given birth a set of baby bedding as a gift. However I soon realised that it will be difficult because I do not know the measurements of the sheets and the sizes of her pillow sets. I used to get these bedding as full moon gifts and I couldn’t use them because they did not fit the size of the baby’s mattress. I think it would be better to get her a voucher so that she can buy what she really need for baby and a little gift for her as well. I’m sure every mother will definitely appreciate a cash voucher or cash red packet than to receive things that she may not be able to find it practical for.

Babies, Babies Everywhere!

posted by constance

This year seems to be a productive year for the storks. I have received several baby shower invitations in the coming weeks. There beautiful cards come in such sweet cards too. It will be exciting to be seeing new babies and there will be lots of motherhood tips among us. One of my good friend had twins. It will be fun because she will also be inviting two of her other colleagues who had twin children as well. I will be bringing lots of baby stuff to handover as my girls have all grown up too. That reminds me to get them some vouchers for the mummys. I am all for vouchers as sometimes the gifts that we give could come in, in duplicates. What the parents really need is the flexibility to choose their own gifts for their own little gems.

Dolling Up Babies

posted by constance

Babies are very smart even at the time of birth. They can sense their mother’s presence. They can be very demanding and know how to twist you around their little fingers and parents love them too much to even notice.

My online pal, Shelly had just delivered a lovely baby girl, Lilyanne and she is the most adorable baby I’ve seen, with large beautiful eyes and that cheruby face. I am sure Shelly will be hunting lots of baby clothing for her little gem. Girls do have the widest choice with all that dolling up and mix and match of apparels. Babies also look adorable in little rompers and little dresses!
