I couldn’t resist taking this photo of the girls during one of the Christmas nights during the light up week. We were in a mall, taking the lift down from the lift lobby after parking the car. The kids were excited to get to go to Orchard again.

But look at them here.. they looked grim, right? They look like security guards, or rather, securikids… I should have don them in costumes and head gears of those English guards outside the Buckingham palace!

Well, the busy traffic makes things just a little crazy during Christmas time last year. It was hard to get a car park space and the queues were also terrible. We managed to find a spot at Lucky Plaza, one of the oldest shopping centre in Orchard once upon a time ago. I had not stepped into this place for ages! Perhaps because we prefer to go to Suntec at Marina vicnity and IMM in the west zone. Lucky Plaza is a gem, to me. The small little shops, reminisence of 70s and 80s. I didn’t like it during the 90s but why the change now? Is it a sign of aging where you try to keep the old and golden years close to your heart always?
