I spoke to mom last week on the phone, long distance. She just had an operation for cataract not too long ago. I wished that I had been there for her. I felt very guilty about it. As we grow older, our health is not in it’s optimum stage, thus we are besetted with health problems. She has retina tear as well and had the op done at the same time. I guess our eyes are just not the same anymore. Ah Boy has started wearing glasses lately because he cannot read fine prints anymore.. Is this a sign of aging? I bet it is.. I browzed through looking for pain relief for arthritis when I was in the phamarcy this week. But I do not know if the pain in my joints are even arthritis.. I guess I better consult a doctor first.. I know my granny and mom has it so perhaps it runs in the family?
