A Little Winged Friend
I was upstairs getting ready to send my girl to school when I heard a scream downstairs. Thought something terrible happened, I rushed downstairs and saw my Rae at a corner with fear in her eyes. She saw an insect flying near our living hall and she is really frightened of flying insects. Even as I told her those are not harmful she’d be hiding away. When the insect settled on the balcony floor, I took a snapshot of it. It was only a little moth (I think). It had little green patches on its wings and looked quite pretty. Well I used to believe that moths that fly into the house are errr.. well something like a loved one who had passed on. Do you believe in things like that?
Anyway I won’t think further on because there’d be no stop to all possibilities! My mind will be working non stop.
Hi Constance, as for us Malays we believe that if a moth/butterfly gets in the house, somebody far is coming over. Had few co-incidence before but am not really a believer. Thanks for the nice pic, it was pretty, love the green patches.
